Introducing Henk Visagie, our Education Sales Manager (although “Safari and Adventure Travel Expert” would be a more deserving job title!). Henk grew up in Kroonstad, South Africa, and moved to the States after graduating from University in 1996. For the next few years Henk worked for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte; first as Environmental Education Instructor, then as Adventure Camp Director and finally as Corporate Trainer and Team building Facilitator.

Henk’s experience in adventure travel, camp management and corporate teambuilding makes for a wholesome addition to our team and offering. Kayaking the Colorado River through Glenwood Canyon is testament to his love for outdoor adventure, while his intimate understanding of the safari industry and African bush is key to our sincere and authentic sales approach. Henk is pivotal in our endeavors to grow Africa as a destination amongst American learning institutions, for not only education travel, but also practical experience and summer break adventures. With ten years working experience within the USA, he has a fine-tuned understanding of the American market and their needs.
