Southern Sky Adventures: Safari

For children around the world, Africa evokes rich and vivid images of the safari experience. Whether it be Kenya’s Masai Mara, Tanzania’s Serengeti, South Africa’s Kruger National Park, Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools or Botswana’s Okavango Delta, Africa boasts wildlife and vistas found nowhere else in the world. A family safari is a journey into nature at its purest. Almost all the game lodges located near or within the national park system are set up to take in children above the age of 12 years old. Other lodges are willing to take in children of all ages and often tailor make programs designed just for the youngsters in camp. Opportunities for family accommodation are plentiful, as well.
